Astroprint Desktop for Mac - 3D printer not detected

Hello,

I use a Anet A6 3D printer (with CH340G USB-SERIAL converter).

The driver for the CH340G converter is well installed.
Also, I can print with Repetier-Host for Mac.

But it is not possible to detect the printer with Astroprint Desktop.
Where is it possible to configure the connection (port - speed - …) ?

Thanks for help.

Regards,

Michel

You can see that under settings -> Printer USB Connection

Hello,

In the Printer USB Connection, I click on “Plug printer and try again >>” without success.

I don’t see where select the usb-serial converter in the settings view… should it be discovered automatically?
Is there another menu?

On the /dev/ folder the usb-serial converter is visible with the name: tty.wchusbserial1420.

Thanks again.

Regards,

Michel

If the port doesn’t even show then this means that this type of serial port is unfortunately unsupported by us at the moment.

Hello,
Ok, thanks for your feedback.
I will wait for a future version of the program
During this time, I continue to use Repetier-Host.

Regards,

Michel
