@swampy: Not yet, but we are working on Support for the Raspberry Pi 3 right at this moment.

No ETA yet, but it should be available on the next release.

Apologies for the delay!

P.S: Fixed your thread title and moved it to Troubleshooting.

thanks for the quick response lol ive just wiped my pi3 after 1 week of messing got it working with octoprint and putty loas of aggro still never got camera working on it could use printer with what was on sd card but what I sent over to it it never worked so the race is on can you do it before octopi boys do as of so far its not working very well on the pi3 your my only hope and I will be sticking around and waiting for you guys to make it happen thanks

No problem!

We are not competing with Octoprint at all, that’s for geeks.

AstroPrint is aimed for regular, non technical folks – so a race does not exist!

Anyway, stay tuned for Pi3 support.

If you want to stay in the loop, your best bet would be to pay attention to our twitter.

cheers as I’m a noob the non technical suits me down to the ground as I cant type very fast and facebook is as far as I like to go in the world of tec twitter never used it think its another way of expressing your anger

Hi,
are some news about support Raspberry Pi 3? Thanks Ondra

@Ondra: Yes, we will have support for Raspberry Pi 3 in our next release  - I don’t have an ETA yet though.

Stay tuned!

Any news on when this will be available on RPi 3? Any way to get access to some sort of beta?

Any idea as to when the beta will be available? I’m thinking of getting a pi 2 just so I can play around with it if the beta is more than a month away. Thnaks

No, it’s days away. Early next week we’re going to release a release candidate via the forums and at the end we’ll upload the official release.

Great. Looking forward to it.

Waiting for the release candidate as well. Just purchased a Raspberry Pi 3 to make an Astrobox, only to find that I can not use the current Astrobox build.

Here’s the latest release candidate. This is not final yet. The final release will be available over the weekend but if you like test software you can give this one a try.

UPDATE: The release is now on the official download page

Note: this release requires an extra wifi dongle for setup and offline functionality. You can also set it using ethernet if you can get into the command line and find its initial IP address.
