Camera..for astroprint

If you want a cheap and actually pretty good camera for your astrobox…

I picked up an iHome camera at Microcenter … they are regularly $4.99 on sale for $1.99
Seems to work well even has some weak LEDs to light things up.

Now for my dumb question…if I set my camera to capture each layer…when the print is done…where
do I go to get the frame grabs? I assume it stores them but maybe the camera is just for ‘live’ monitoring?

Did a quick search and did’d see this detail…and I want to share my camera find.

On AstroPrint.com there is an app on the dashboard called Print Captures. From there you can download the images or a video of the time lapse.

Okay duh…I didn’t think to look on the web interface…assumed it would be on the local box…but this is even better…thanks!

Here is a link to what the cheapo camera recorded on a test print.
