Camera Support Raspi B+

Hello,
I have a problem with the connection to the webcam.
I use a raspberry b + v1. The camera ( CREATIVE 73VF070000001 Live! Cam Chat HD Webcam) is definitely compatible, lights up shortly after the connect and is however no longer attainable. Astroprint says there is a link line, but not what I need to change. About Putty I’ve already told the Pi that the camera should be enabled.

Did I forgot something?

Thank you
Daniel

Are you able to take photos ?

Hello,
since I do not know exactly what photos you need, I just photographed the error message.Uploading… Uploading…

If you want to know if I can take photos with the webcam, then the answer is no. Since it is not recognized at all.

Yeah, I was asking if taking photos work

If the camera is not recognized then it’s either not supported or you didn’t activate it with raspi-config

okay thanks. Which means that although the camera is released for Linux, it does not mean it works, does it?

Yeah we need it as V4L2 device. Our image includes the driver for the raspicam. If it works /dev/video0 should be there. You do have to enable the camera in raspi-config.

USB camera are more plug and play
