Cannot reconnect to home wifi

I took my printer to the Mini Maker Faire this weekend. While there I just accessed the Pi through the hotspot it creates. When I got it back home, I couldn’t reconnect to my home wifi. I connected to the hotspot and tried connecting to the wifi I’d previously used, but it keeps flashing a red warning at top of a few seconds, “Settings could not be saved” or similar. I’ve typed in the password exactly, but the message returns. I’ve tried connecting to another wifi I have, but it gives the same message.

I’d like to not re-flash the SD card, but I will if that’s the only option. I really want to understand what I’m doing wrong.

I am sort of a noob when it comes to Linux, but I have people I can ask for help if I don’t understand what instructions are suggested.

Thanks, Ryan.

I would recommend you restore the settings and start over. This doesn’t involve re-flashing simply go to settings -> advanced, click on restore settings and reboot.
