Difference in print quality

I have the Astrobox and a matter controller. I have printed the same object with the same printer, same filament, and started the next print within 5 minutes of the first one finishing. I printed the first with astroprint, then one with matter controller, then another one with astroprint. Both astroprint a turned out the same.

Below is with astroprint, bottom 10mm is fine and then it gets icky

This is with matter-controller which is a perfectly acceptable print…

Any ideas, it is like the hot end is getting cold.

This looks like a settings issue, likely speed related. What printer is it? what settings are you using in both cases?

This is being printed on my leapfrog creatr dual. with the matter controller the speeds are infill 25,inside perimeter 25, outside 20. All numbers given are in mm/s. I am not sure where to find the settings for astroprint.

On Astroprint, you can get to Slicer Settings via the Advanced Slicer Settings link on the print screen.

I am also curious about all the other settings you are using.

If possible, show us those. You should be able to access them on the Astroprint FILE MANAGER.
