Edit custom slicer settings

The ability to save custom slicer presets finally convinced us to switch from MatterControl + Octopi to just using Astroprint (except when scaling/re-orienting prints is required).

However, after saving approx. 36 presets per printer for 5 printers I realized that if I made any mistake or wanted to update a setting I’d have to go back and redo/reslice/resave them all from scratch, then delete the old presets afterward. That’s a really tedious way to make edits!

Any chance we’ll get the ability to do a simple update on saved custom settings?

Yes, the ability to edit your current settings is coming very soon!

Awesome. Although just found out about 3DPrinterOS and they make it dead easy to edit presets by simply replacing values in the JSON file. They also have an app to scale, rotate, move, mirror, copy, etc… the model…all the basic features of most slicers. Looks like the horse race is on!
