Does the AstroBox software run in the Raspberry Pi family automatically expand the file system? Or is it good practice to manually expand the file system via SSH etc.

The new version 0.8(8) does it automatically after the first reboot. If you’re running a previous version you should do it by running:
raspi-config
Ok, I just updated. And when you suggest using raspi-config is there access to the command line from within the AstroBox server? Or just simply SSH in. Thanks for the help!

ssh is good. By default we don’t change the username/password that comes by default on the pi
