I was thinking of how to activate the pause print feature automatically if a sensor detected an out of filament situation.
its easy enough to come up with a sensor setup, and there are lots of inputs on the R.Pi to use.
the device could be marketed as a feature add on and those with the tinker skillz could do their own.
My kungFu is not up to doing the coding myself, the hardware seems esay to me.
just thought I would throw it out there…
