Has anyone got their Flashforge Creator Pro to work with an Astrobox? I set all this up and the printer is not automatically detected. Are there some manual COM settings I can use?

Yeap. We have a FlashForge Creator Pro in the office and everything works fine.
Have you tried flashing or updating your AstroBox to the latest version: https://astroprint.com/downloads ?
I would also try some basic troubleshooting like:
- Re-booting the printer and the AstroBox
- Checking printer & AstroBox USB connection etc…
You’d be surprised how many times I couldn’t connect to my printer because of loose USB wires
