Heated platform issues ctc replicator

My printer is working great printing with astrobox and even prints better than using makerbot or other pc based apps. But i have one issue. I cannot for the life of me get the hbp to heat on the start of the print. I made a custom profile and changed settings and the only way to make it work os to start the print and manually set the temp on the bed. Is this a bug or am i missing a ninja hidden setting. My printer has factory firmware if that helps.

For my CTC (still on the original firmware) the heated bed is working. Did you switch the “Heated Bed” check box to on in your Printer Profile? By default it is in the off position.

Yes i did. First thing i did. It works the bed. But only after starting the print then setting it manually

Next test can be to upload a ready to print X3G file from a source known to heat the bed, e.g. exported from Makerbot Slicer. If that works you may have forgotten to set the bed teperature in the “Material profiles” or “My Slicer Settings”.

Still won’t work. I have also setup a custom profile too and set the bed to the temp I want but no joy. I’m puzzled. It’s enabled in the settings too. Think the gcode is not getting wrote correctly? How would I go about getting the gcode out of the x3d file that was sliced in Astro to check it? I appreciate your help with this one.
