How I put it down 90 degrees?

I’ve downloaded a file from the thingiverse. how I put it down 90 degrees?
You can not see the file after it’s slicer, a layer after layer?
I’m new in the astroprint

As of now you can’t rotate models in astroprint. If you have an STL file you can import it to most any cad program and rotate it then save the rotated model and take that into astroprint.

Indeed. But, stay tuned  It’s coming!

thanks for the answer! which, cab program do you recommend I run Mac.

Just get CURA.

Then, import your model.

Then, Rotate.

I like openscad

Free and quick plus you can do other things

Most slicers do offer rotate and place and export options too. But why use a slicer to export to another slicer of course if that is easier…

I model mostly in scad so for me it works.

However if you don’t know what rotation you need to get the object flat then it is not the way to go. Then a slicer or a graphical cad program with a drop feature will be the best. There are several free options like cura or slic3r and freecad
