New Astrobox can't connect to wifi: The connection could not be created [SOLVED]

I just recieved my Raspberry Pi 2 and bought the Edimax usb adapter as per the Astrobox faq text.

I can connect to the Raspberry via the Astrobox Hotspot, but I can not get the Astrobox to connect to my local wifi.

I am using an HP MSM460 AP in autonomous mode. While it is a very advanced AP, I have it set up pretty standard with WPA2 (AES/CCMP) preshared key.
I have a DHCP server that deals with the DHCP part.
Nothing else. Both 2.4 and 5ghz radios are on.

I have run this Network for a very long time and use it with a multitude of devices, from Apple stuff, to Logitech Squeezeboxes, phones, media stuff, laptops etc. Never had any issue.

One thing is that I have a guest Network that resides on a different VLAN and recieves IP from my firewall (pfsense). The Astrobox can connect to that one.

So, what protocol/command is missing in Astrobox, since it doesn’t connect to the normal WLAN?

I figured it out myself.

I have a 2,4Ghz and a 5Ghz Network with the same name. The Edimax bundle tried using the 5Ghz Network even though it can’t!!!
I created a new WLAN on a new vlan with just the 2,4Ghz radio active and it Works.
