No retraction in any print

Hi, I’ve noticed none of my prints are honoring my retraction settings. In fact, no matter what settings I use for retraction, the printer simply won’t retract at all. I’m using an Ender 3 v2 with mrisoc firmware and my printer profile in Astro is set to use Cura 3.6.0 with Marlin. Anyone have any idea why the gcode my profile is producing might lack retraction commands?

I have this same issue now that I’ve converted my ender 3 to direct drive. Not sure if the issue was occuring before the conversion, but I have reason to believe it was as I struggled with inexplicable stringing then as well.
