Did the update. Before my video stream worked locally and on the cloud, but was a little buggy, so I was excited to see that issue is addressed in the update. After updating, I get no video stream at all any more, just the space monkey. I can still get still photos just fine. Any ideas?
Could you give more details? For example which browser or phone OS do you use to view the video. Is it on the web or the mobile app?
Also the monkey means that the connection was established and it’s waiting for data. Maybe the connection is spotty at either the box’s end or the video player’s end.
Well, interestingly, before the update, the only browser that would work with video streaming was Firefox on the web. App never worked for me – I have an iPhone. Now streaming won’t work with Firefox, but works fine with Chrome and a bit clunky with Safari, but works. I guess my issue is solved then, since I’m not tied to any browser! Connection has never been spotty, so it must be another issue with Firefox. Not worth messing with since I will use Chrome from now on. Sorry I didn’t check before, but hopefully someone else will find this solves their problem too!
