Hi, why is astroprint not comaptible with this device google play states
This app has access to:Photos / Media / Files,Wi-Fi connection information, receive data from Internet
The nook is cable of all of that
The generic no carrier message isn’t really revelant unless the app demands a phone sim and connection in which case why?

It might be the version of android running on it. Which is it ?
The honest answer is I don’t know. the default version is Android 4.0.3 but I may have upgraded it , I harldy use it these days but it is the only android device I have and ust wanted to check out the toys in the new app for the kids.
So if any one can say what the lowiest verison of android is for the apps it might be easier for me to see if there is an upgrade path to that version or higher.
