I thought Astrobox did this however now I think I might have been mistaken. Maybe it was some other tool…
I know print estimates are hard, there are alot of variables some of which the slicer or driver application can’t know because they are hidden by the printer…but…
I think it would be a nice thing to update the print time estimates shown in the file manager and shown as a countdown while printing with the actual last print time for that object…maybe some sort of running averaging/Integration to give more accurate times based on what the slicer reported and the actual time it took…print something enough and you should have pretty good estimate.
Maybe keeping the raw estimate and having a "actual measured print time’ would be even better as I often slice things over and over and one of the things I look at is the estimated print time as sometimes I optimize for material use, other times for quality but often for a part I may print alot I elect to optimize for a faster print but I am never sure how much my changes to the slicer setup will overall affect times…while the estimates are never going to be perfect they do serve as a reasonable way to compare slicer settings vs print time.
