Basically, whenever I set up my Astrobox this happens.
The connection to the internet seems to be the dongle, and the hotspot seems to be the internal wifi.
Ultimately I don’t want a dongle, I just want to use the internet wifi and have it connect to my network, I don’t need a hot spot.
What am I missing?
Good question. We always use wlan0 to connect to external networks and wlan1 as a hotspot. You RPI must be mapping the HW interfaces as such. You might want to try starting without a dongle, which will map the internal was wlan0. You can then insert the dongle and reboot.

I tried for a good solid couple of days, the only way I was able to get it to select the internal wifi is use ethernet initially which gave it the hotspot, found the IP and set it up that way.
