I have been using AstroPrint for about a week to allow me to tether from my RoBo 3D R1+ during prints. So far I really like it but I found that I lost a lot of the features offered by my slicing program of choice (Simplify3D).
I do have a few features that I would really like to see added to a future version of AstroPrint that would make things a lot easier.

I would like to have a “Disable Motors” function added to the “Control” screen. I am currently using the GCode Terminal to send a M17 to the printer as a workaround but would like to see something added. This is useful when a print fails.

I would like the option to add a list of Custom Macro Buttons to the “Control Screen” - This would allow users to add gcode to perform custom actions such as pre-heating the extruder or tap into some of the custom features of the printer if they know the gcode. This is also useful for troubleshooting and would eliminate my previous request.

I would LOVE to see a way to print directly from Simplify3D by adding AstroPrint as a network printer or have a plugin for Simplify3d created.

I would love to see a way to upload GCode files to the astroprint cloud dashboard, I can do this on the local web interface but not the cloud dashboard.
