i just wanted to test out the slicer function, but every stl file has a problem with slicing
Same here Ive tried several options but nothing is working
Are your STL files working with a local slicing software? Did you try a STL file from other people, e.g. Thingiverse? If these are not working too, there might be a wrong setting in your slicer profile (just a suggestion)

I am currently experiencing the same issue. Any word from the Astroprint team?
same problem here. New stl designs would not work. repqired and even sliced locally with repetier. Worked fine. Then I tried uploading an stl that worked perfectly on astroprint yesterday. Same error. As soon as the upload is complete, I get the error message “There was a problem analyzing”. Never get to the astroprint slice settings.
All fixed now guys. Sorry for the troubles

Thanks @Chris! While I hate the feeling of having let our users down when these things happen, it’s reassuring to know that people use and depend on the service.
A far worse outcome would be that the service goes down and nobody cares.
Every one of these episodes teaches us something that makes the service better.
