I am trying to make an astrobox gateway. I have flashed the sd card and put it in my raspberry pi 3B+ It says to wait to have it boot up and then it will start emitting a hotspot, but I don’t know how to know if it has been booted up. It also hasn’t emitted a hotspot named astrobox ####. Also, I am trying to run the astrobox through browser but the page on that doesn’t give very much information and the video it gives is unavailable. Any advice? Anyone set up a astrobox before?
I found out the problem. I read in a article that the raspberry pi 3 has internal wifi/Bluetooth chip so it does not need a wifi dongle. I just read in another one that you do need one. I did not have a wifi dongle on hand because…I don’t know anyone who does. I have it connected to a Ethernet cable and it seems to be working fine. That is a bit annoying because I don’t have a Ethernet cable in the part of my house where my printer is.
