My astrobox has been offline for a while now, but I tried to turn it on and get a Local Socket not present error, saying it’s unable to establish internal communication and will reboot. But it just comes back to the same screen.

Yes, we can see that your Astrobox was last connected on 2023. Please open a ticket here https://astroprint.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new and we can help you to solve this connection.
Another solution would be to flash again the Astrobox software following these instructions: https://astroprint.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015968891-Step-3-Flashing-AstroBox-Touch-Software . You already have the hardware, so you can start directly in the Step3.
