Webcam cannot lower resolution (or change any other setting)

Hi! i’m pretty new here since i’ve installed astroprint 3days ago (and instantly fallen in love with it  )

I’ve used Pi Zero and with nonpowered hub connected usb wifi (shame that official pi dongle is not supported out of box but edimax is), printer and Logitech C270. Everything works except camera. I’m using 2.3A USB power so due to lack of regulators on PiZero itself should be sufficient. Wifi works great, printing is just wonderfull but camera is recognized as UVC CAMERA with correct model number (046d:0825) but in settings it is only try to lower resolution and that resolution cannot be lowered.

i’m out of ideas - this webcam is very popular and works with Pi. although i haven’t tested it should work with octoprint and raspbian (will check later). I cannot change anything other than video mode but it doesn’t make a difference since i cannot save settings.

Could you send us logs using the option in advanced settings? This is odd. It seems that your camera is reporting to only support that resolution (which is not true for a C270) that is why you can’t lower it. It might be something else but the logs will tell us more.
