Im using Astroprint successfully for some months now, but I bought this weird WebCam from Aliexpress that has a super narrow field of view, so I have to position the Cam 1,5m away from the print to be able to see the full bed.
What Cams are you using? I don’t want to spend 20€ on a new one, maybe someone else is using a decent one from gearbest/ali.

Get one of these.
They have been tested and confirmed to work with AstroPrint 
Generally speaking, Linux compatible cameras should work.
The ones on the list are pretty expensive. except for the playstation eye, which is a bit low res even for the price. Is there nothing in the 10-20€/$ bracket?
As for compatibility, I didnt look specifically for comaptibility, guess I was lucky. is there a certain standard, that is equivalent to “linux compatible” because thats usually not listed on the cheaper cams.
