I cause the camera and take a snapshot on the astroprint.com dashboard, however when I go into captures nothing is there??

The captures only save when it is a time lapse set up. So when you set it to 1, 2, 5 min or by layer intervals it will save all the pictures it takes as a time lapse. When you just click the camera button the system does not save those pictures in the print captures.
