Under AstroPrint webpage SETTING >> CONNECTION the USB Device shows UNKNOWN.
Your “Printer Profile(s)” doesn’t have xyz da vinci,
is it safe to assume AstroPrint is not yet supported?
is it currently wip?
UNKNOWN only means that the USB port is not telling us the name of the machine. It does mean that it detected the port.
We don’t have settings for the XYZ because they don’t ship with open firmware. However if you have flashed repetier, you might want to create a custom printer and try it out. If you have good results, we can add the printer to the database with the settings that you have tested.
You can tweaks settings in the meantime using the “advanced settings dialog”
awww you dont have support for it yet i was really hoping you did seeing how Simplifed 3d is able to control XYZ printers maybe if you got in contact with them and learn what did to get support??
i am comfytibly with OctoPrint. I never had to learn CURA thanks to SLIC3R ability to slice and send printable file directly to Octoprint server from pc. let it print, turn off pc, go to bed.
