"Optimizing Print Quality on Ender 3 Pro with AstroPrint – Tips & Advice Needed"

Hi everyone,

I recently started using AstroPrint with my Ender 3 Pro, and I’m really liking the remote control and monitoring features. That said, I’m still working on dialing in my print quality, and I’d really appreciate some guidance from users who’ve had success with this combo.

I came across this website:https://forum.astroprint.com/t/power bi tutorial[looking-for-advice-on-using-astroprint-on-ender-3-pro-to-maximise-print-quality/10648] but still need some advice

Are there any specific slicer settings in AstroPrint you recommend for the Ender 3 Pro? I’m especially interested in tips around layer height, print speed, and temperature settings that have worked well for you. Also, does anyone here use custom Cura profiles through AstroPrint, and if so, how did you go about optimizing them?

Lastly, any general do’s and don’ts or overlooked settings within AstroPrint that could help improve print consistency and surface finish?

Thanks in advance for any help – I’m hoping to get the most out of both AstroPrint and my printer!

Best,
Feliz

Hi Feliz! I just started using Astro Print and started exploring around more. The Ender 3 was my first printer and I learned so much from it. I would love to shares some slicer settings with you that I found help.

I see you had made this post a while back. First I wanted to make sure you are still looking for some guidance. Let me know how you have progressed in the past 9 months as I also like learning what others have found.

I am also just about finished with my Ender 3 Pro homemade extender kit. I cant wait to start printing with it and seeing some of these profile settings on a bigger scale to see in more detail of what each setting can do.

Hope to hear from you soon and Happy Printing, Feliz!
