I don’t know much about 3D printers and the extruder part that goes left and right is now wobbly, causing failed prints. Is there a way to fix it or do i just level based on the droop and pray it works?
you really need to fix it if you want decent prints…much depends on the specific model of printer…fix could be very simple or may require some replacement parts. (often easy and cheap to find depending on printer)
After trying to determine the cause of slight X Axis waviness and unevenness in my N2 Plus prints I think I finally discovered the culprit. There appears to be a lot of play or looseness in the extruder assembly. I read some instructions here…
This amount of “wiggle room” corresponds almost exactly to how much unevenness I’m getting in my prints, which are otherwise great. The play is only in the X and doesn’t appear to be due to loose rod/bearings fit. It instead seems to be how the extruder assembly is mounted. Now I am trying to fix it?
