I’ve switched to the Cura 3.6.0 slicer because it has a ton more features. I was having issues with Slic3r PE 1.4 and couldn’t get my prints to come out neatly. I was having combing issues and first layer lines melted into the bottom. With the Cura slicer I seem to have this issue where my filament retracts many mm right before the filament *attempts to adhere to the bed. It will then start sticking but then everything will come undone and come off and then start globbing up in a ball. It doesn’t seem like filament is coming out because it keeps getting retracted. I’ve turned off retraction, z hop, and all settings that say anything about retraction but still have this issue.
